Gonzalo Bacigalupe, Ed.D. (University of Massachusets Amherst) is Associate Professor and Director of the Master of Science in Family Therapy at the Department of Counseling and School Psychology; Adjunct Research Professor at the Family Medicine & Community Health, University of Massachusetts Medical School; Invited Professor Psychotherapeutic Interventions Master-Degree, School of Psychology, Universidad Nacional de Educacion a Distancia (UNED), Madrid, Spain; Faculty Research Associate Mauricio Gaston Institute for Latino Community Development and Public Policy; Co-Senior Editor Journal of Systemic Therapies; Editorial Board Member of several journals; Massachusetts Licensed Marital and Family Therapist, Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor American Association of Marital and Family Therapy (AAMFT); Board Member and Research Committee Chair of the American Family Therapy Academy (AFTA); Board Member and Education Director of the Healthy Villi Greater Boston Celiac/DH Support Group. 2006 recipient of the Randy Gerson Memorial Grant for Couple, Family, & Multigenerational Processes awarded by the American Psychological Foundation for his research proposal "Gluten free diet adherence among families with a celiac disease child." Presently, he is a Master in Public Health Candidate at the Society & Human Development Program of the Harvard University School of Public Health specializing in chronic illness, nutrition, and health disparities. He was a Fulbright Senior Research Scholar in 2004 at the Family Therapy School, Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona.
