If you are interested in being included in this you should have access to a computer that is less than 2-3 years old with a good graphics card. Go to http://www.secondlife.com and download the software, select an avatar and avatar name, and obtain a Second Life account. You should do this at least 2-3 weeks before the course starts if possible to test it out.
We hope to have a user-friendly easy orientation available so that you can quickly function successfully in Second Life. Once you have an avatar please email your instructor your avatar name. The course syllabus will then give you information about activities. - Wimba Requirement
