MSIS212 Managerial Decision Making

Course Description
Provides the student with knowledge of more advanced decision making tools, building upon the skills developed in MSIS 110 and MSIS 111. The emphasis of this course is on using management information systems and quantitative analysis tools to improve the quality of managerial decision making. Topics include decision theory and analysis, optimization, simulation, and forecasting. Students use advanced functions in spreadsheet packages and decision support software for analysis of practically oriented problems in various management settings.

Prerequisite: MSIS 110 and one of the following: MSIS 111, MATH 125, ECON 205, PSYCH 270, SOCIOL 350; MGT students only.
