Haitian Creole Summer Institute

June 23 - July 11, 2008

The Haitian Creole Summer Institute has been offered in Massachusetts for the past twenty years. This year the Institute will have three components. There will be a four-week intensive program in different levels of Haitian Creole. Also offered is a course in techniques of translation for advanced students.

Boston Writing Project Summer Institute

July 7 - 31, 2008

The Boston Writing Project offers selected teachers—from kindergarten to college—a variety of opportunities to become better teachers of writing. The Summer Institute awards credit for: BWPEDU 501, The Teacher as Writer, and EDC G 621, Teaching Writing K-12.

Conventiculum Bostoniense 2008 Latin By The Sea

The Conventiculum is a full-immersion residential experience for teachers of Latin at all levels. Days are filled with instructional activities, opportunities for social interaction (particularly at meals and in the dormitories) and local excursions.
