- How much will the graduate certificate program cost?
- The graduate certificate is 5 courses each worth 3 credits for a total of 15 credits. For a list of the most current fees, see http://ccde.umb.edu/moreinfo/registration/fees/ Make sure you are looking at the graduate level online course fees (unless you are taking a face to face class), all the service fees and any other associated fees, and, for new students, a one-time new student fee.
- I already have an initial license in another field. Once I complete the certificate, can I get an Instructional Technology license as an additional license?
- The courses in the graduate certificate cover all six competencies required by the Massachusetts Department of Education (MA DOE). Unless your initial license is in a field for all levels (K-12), you will also need to take a course in human development. EDCG644 satisfies this requirement. For the most up-to-date information about MA DOE’s requirements for an additional license, see http://www.doe.mass.edu/ and scroll down to "Educators earning a new license in a new field at a new level."
- Who do I contact if I have further questions?
