  1. To Register for courses as a non matriculated student, the registration form can be downloaded and copied from this website: ccde.umb.edu/moreinfo/registration/download/. Please scan and email* (gradnurreg@umb.edu) the following :
    1. your completed registration form,
    2. a copy of your current nursing license,
    3. a copy of your government issued photo ID, and
    4. a copy of your diploma or transcript from the institution from which you earned your MS or BSN degree.
If you are a returning non-matriculated student, you only need to fill out and email the registration form. Please be sure to include your UMB student identification number on the form. If you are new to UMass you will not have a student ID number but will receive one with this initial registration.

    * If you are not able to scan and email the required materials, please mail all four forms to: Jocelyn Burke, UMB-CNHS, 100 Morrissey Blvd., Boston, MA 02125.
  2. When we receive all four pieces of information, we will review your materials and submit your registration. When you have been registered, you will receive an email confirmation of your course(s) enrollment and UMB student email account information from the registrar’s office so be sure to include your current email address on the registration form. A future email will be sent regarding Blackboard Vista for those of you who are new to the online learning management system (LMS). This email will be sent approximately one (1) week before classes begin and will be sent to your UMB student email account.

Please note: If you are interested in taking NU 615 Advanced Health Assessment or NU 634 Advanced Pharmacology, you must first show evidence of Advanced Pathophysiology at a grade of B or better and/or you may take this course concurrent to enrolling in Advanced Pharm or Advanced Health Assessment. If you have completed Advanced Pathophysiology, fax a copy of the official or unofficial transcript along with your registration. If you are registering for NU615 Advanced Health Assessment, you will need a clinical placement with an MD or NP preceptor who will supervise you in developing your skills for 65 hrs or 6 hrs a week for the term. A legal document, known as a Working Agreement, must be secured between UMB and the site before the clinical hours begin. A draft copy of the Working Agreement can be found on the right side of this page for download. You can share this with the agency to determine if they will sign the one that we send to them on letterhead.

Once you are registered for NU615, enter the information for the clinical agency Working Agreement (WA) here:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?hl=en&formkey=dHBtT29sU0g1VFh2c3I5Z1FIbk9rVWc6MA

We will then generate a formal copy of the Working Agreement on our letterhead to be sent to the agency.
